M Culinary Concepts in Phoenix, AZ is searching for the next fun and enthusiastic foody! We are seeking full-time and part-time Commissary Prep Cooks whose passion for cooking rivals their hunger for phenomenal food. No doubt about it, we know our way around a kitchen and every single person in the kitchen is a critical piece to making it all happen. 

Some know us as the largest [and best no bias;] catering company in the Southwest, but we're so much more. The valley knows us as the premier food & beverage provider of the Waste Management Phoenix Open and Barrett-Jackson, or the award-winning caterer of lux lifestyle celebrations, corporate holiday parties, and even intimate backyard gatherings. What most people don't know is our extensive line of concepts that we operate including M Catering, Main Course, Nibblers, Business Dining, Monterra at WestWorld, and our network of exclusive and preferred event venues. Day in the life?

A day in the life of our commissary prep cooks is to make huge fun with their team while keeping food integrity top priority. You will prepare Grab n Go items, regularly check food for freshness and quality, and follow recipes to make some amazing food. It is a team environment so working with others and within time limits to meet goals is a regular part of your day. 


These are some of the qualities we hope you can bring to the table (pun intended).

  • 1+ year Kitchen Experience
  • ServSafe Certified
  • Good working knowledge of sanitation and Maricopa county health codes
  • Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation
  • Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment  
  • Has their own basic knife kit (not required but useful)

Work Schedule

We have options to fit your schedule! Take Friday and Saturday off and work a full time scheduled Sunday - Thursday or work a part-time scheduled Monday - Friday. Let us know when you can work and let's see if we can create a plan that will work for you.
